This interior scene was painted at my host’s home during Plein Air Southwest 2025. They had a charming place and I enjoyed every moment of my stay there. I discovered this fully stocked bar during a rain storm! I was able to sit down for this one as I listened to music while mixing paint and eating popcorn with a spoon.
It doesn’t get much better than this, unless you have a plus one.
I painted two beautiful pieces while enjoying the Bourbon House and gifted my hosts an amazing painting of Thomas the Turkey that was painted from life at “Seeding Galveston “ on a Market Day. I love the joy! “When Jim first set eye’s on Tom.” Pictured below.
