"Rhapsody in Bloom on Winnie" was painted over a two day period on the most charming corner in Galveston. I dropped a pin the first time I drove by it. The passers by and neighbors that stopped to chat were interesting and unanimous is expressing their love for the exquisite landscaping and this beautifully restored Historic home. There are 4 plaques near the front door (do you see them?) that speak to the history of the structure.
Below is the end of Day 1 paint session here. I would return again the next day to work on the flowers in the front and tighten it up in the triangular focal point/passage.
