Was created in plein air for the Sedona Plein Air Festival 2020- Year of the Women on a cold rainy day 30 minutes from my home in Dobbin, Texas.
I painted as long as I could before I started shivering so bad I had to stop. The local postman stopped to check on me after seeing me there for hours.
The rain was driving down, landing in my gear, my car, and on my pallet but it wasn’t on my panel so I soldiered on. I was soaked through from head to toe and would take breaks sitting in my car with the seat warmer on to combat the chill.
I survived and so did my impression of this beautiful scene.
