"Alex" was painted with a limited pallet. Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Titanium White and Ivory Black. Such a beautiful blue comes from Ivory Black. Clayton Beck puts black in the middle of his pallet. When I saw this I started doing the same instead of book ending with white.
