I was introduced to my first Pleinair event by my friend and fellow artist Debra Latham. We spent four days painting in the Hill country of Texas with 50 other artists from all over the country. After getting our canvases stamped we were set loose on the community of Marble Falls. Over the course of the event I was able to complete 9 paintings. I sold four and won People Choice for my painting of the model. We had two hours to complete that and we had to leave it at the venue. The community and participants voted the next day at the auction and sale!
